What kind of person would put a leash on a gate in the first place?

I sure hope whoever thought a gate would run away won't be running as one of our officials

Just because you haven't seen gates run away, doesn't mean it hasn't happened already. I once had a garden door I held in high esteem who was good friends with the neighborhood dogs and seemed a perfectly fine chap, but one day just disappeared. Years later I got a letter with a picture of him and a stunningly beautiful barbed wire fence in Paris. It puts me at ease to know he's out there somewhere, living the good life.

Gates.....They always do things when you're not looking. So we don't even know if they're the ones doing it!

So you let this one off its leash? What's wrong with you?

I kinda like the look of the leashed gate and OTdom crashing against it from the other side. It's so tranquil over here, no need to spoil it just now.
Also Chicken Nuggets.
